Thank you so much for actually changing my life for the better. There is no way I could have passed Part 3 without your expert help. I’m so very lucky to have found you.

Regardless of the result today, I just want to say thank you for all your time and effort you have put in to helping me. You have been absolutely incredible. I couldn’t have done this without you.

Rob Wooldridge ADI (Part 3 passed!)

As soon as I received the dreaded Standards Check letter, I went straight on the phone to Lynne. She helped me “tweak” a few bits and gave me the confidence in my teaching to absolutely smash my SC with an exceptionally high mark. When the next letter comes again, there is no question who I will contact first. Thank you for your advice, help and teaching Lynne.

You gave me some really good tips and helped with my coaching skills which made me feel confident during the test. You were very professional and yourself demonstrated to me how to put the pupil at the heart of the lesson. Thank you for your brilliant training.

Training with Lynne was invaluable; her knowledge of the industry is second to none.  Her support gave me the confidence and tools to pass my Part 3 first time.

As an ADI since 1986 I have always considered it important to keep up to date with regular CPD training. I have been receiving training from Lynne who is very good at identifying scope for improvement in my instructing. During each training session Lynne has helped me to work towards achieving my goals. She gives really helpful and positive feedback throughout each session. I have since gained more confidence in everyday instructing resulting in a high pass rate and grade A Standards Check. I would definitely recommend Lynne for regular CPD training.

Lynne was very professional, approachable and understood my needs to complete my Part 3. She ensured that I delivered client centred training to students from the moment I was in the car having training with her. I still remain highly motived by her and continue with the training that she offers, a very inspirational lady.

Left to our own devices, we have an amazing knack of trying to make things more complicated, than they need to be! With my next ORDIT assessment coming up, I too was destined to make life unnecessarily complicated for myself! Thankfully I did some training with Lynne, who showed me the strength in simplicity and refocused me on the quality and not quantity of my training. I would highly recommend Lynne as a fantastic trainer, whose vision and encouragement revitalised my confidence to keep it simple!

Stewart Old, ADI ,ORDIT Trainer

Lynne has been great in giving me a great understanding on how to correctly deliver the role-play aspect of ORDIT training. Thanks to Lynne, my role play is more realistic and properly structured.

Today, I spent the following morning in the very capable hands of Lynne Barrie – coach extraordinaire.  My aim was to ‘brush up’ on my coaching techniques and practices. The previous night I thought to myself – what can she tell me after nigh on 47 years of training all types of drivers? Little did I know it, but I was in for a shock, albeit a pleasant one.

Like my peers I was a driver trainer who instructed/facilitated/taught drivers at various levels. I always knew I was giving some coaching but having read so much about it, I decided to find out more. Enter Lynne. Following coffee and an introduction plus setting the objectives for our half-day session, we set off in Lynne’s car. Lynne adopted the role of the learner whilst I endeavoured to coach.

Now, I understood that coaching was all about ‘asking’ and having a conversation type lesson with your charge and not so much about ‘telling’. I was soon gently reminded of the principles of coaching.  Lynne was a master of her craft or in musical parlance – a virtuoso. Having used these coaching skills since I came back from GB – it works and is actually easier for both learner and instructor – oops! Sorry – coach.

The session with Lynne was worth every penny. She is an erudite, articulate, and pleasant  lady who possesses the necessary skills to coach potential driver coaches. A morning well spent and a lot learned.  Those of you who wish to improve your teaching or coaching skills should contact Lynne. She will open up a whole new world of coaching and put you on the road to success. Many thanks to Lynne for such an eye opening training session and introduction to the world of coaching.
